To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Platinums first retractable fountain pen from 1965, Platinum has created a special edition of the CURIDAS in three limited-edition gemstone-inspired colors, limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide. Fifty-five years after the original “Platinum Knock”, their retractable fountain pen made a comeback in 2020 as CURIDAS, earning praise for its innovative design. This commemorative release elevates the model further with an iridescent pearl finish that shifts color with every angle and light, capturing the brilliance and mystery of precious stones.
Designed for comfort and practicality, CURIDAS features a long nib for better visibility, a compact clip for upright storage while allowing a flexible grip, and an airtight sealing system that prevents ink evaporation while keeping the nib ready to write. It is also compatible with converters, allowing for bottled ink usage, while allowing a smooth one-handed writing operation unlike capped pen alternatives.
