This preowned Pelikan Toledo M700 fountain pen showcases the rich artistry and craftsmanship that define the Toledo series. Featuring a 24k gold-plated sterling silver barrel, each pen in the series is individually hand-engraved using traditional damascening techniquesa tribute to Spanish metalwork and German precision.
The pen is fitted with a two-tone 18k gold nib in medium width, offering a smooth and consistent writing experience. The transparent green ink window allows for easy ink level monitoring, while the piston-fill mechanism ensures reliable ink flow.
This early-production M700, likely from the 1990s, features the vintage-style Pelikan logo on the cap finial and the flared pelican beak clip. It shows visible tarnishing and patina on the barrel overlay and hardware, as well as signs of handling, making it a desirable collectors piece with character.
