This S.T. Dupont ‘Big Five’ (Lion) Ligne 2 Lighter is technical and functional, yet also a genuine symbol of elegance with its refined lines, noble materials, and its balanced and reassuring weight. Made entirely from a single block of metal from the body to the reservoir, this lighter is very resistant. The lighter has a palladium finish on a brass case that was hand-engraved on stainless steel. S.T. Dupont, the French Maison founded in 1872 and now specializes in manufacturing cigarette lighters and pens of prestige, presents a new collection of lighters, in limited edition, inspired by the natural beauty of Africa. The five Kings of the Savannah, the symbols of the continent – Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, and Buffalo – have been artistically interpreted by two French masters, the painter Cecile Riollet and the engraver Frederic Krill. The five models were made with a hand-engraving technique that requires more than 50 hours of work of skilled craftsmen.
